What We Collect

We do not operate a server for this extension, and we do not collect analytics, usage statistics, browsing history, or any personally identifying information. Nothing about your TikTok account, your favorites, or your activity is sent to us.

The extension does store a small amount of data locally on your own device, using Chrome's built-in storage API. This never leaves your browser unless you export it yourself. It includes:

• Your saved preferences — keyword filters, removal speed, cooldown duration, and preferred export format.
• Your daily free-tier usage count (reset automatically each day), so the Free plan can track your 6 daily removals.
• Your Pro license key, if you activate one, along with the last verification result from Gumroad.

Permissions We Request

Chrome requires every extension to declare the permissions it needs. Here is exactly why each one is requested:

• storage — to save your settings and license status locally on your device, as described above.
• scripting — to inject the removal logic into the TikTok favorites page when you click Start.
• activeTab — to interact with your current TikTok tab only when you actively use the extension.
• power — to briefly keep your system awake while a long bulk-removal run is in progress, so it isn't interrupted by your device going to sleep.
• alarms — to periodically re-verify a Pro license in the background, so it doesn't expire unexpectedly.
• host permissions for tiktok.com — required to run the removal logic on TikTok's own pages.
• host permissions for api.gumroad.com — required to verify and activate Pro license keys.

Local Processing

When you click Start, the extension calls TikTok's own internal favorites API from inside your browser tab — the same calls your browser already makes when you manually unfavorite a video. No proxy, no middle server, no third-party relay. Exported reports (CSV, JSON, or Excel) are generated and saved directly to your device; they are never uploaded anywhere.

Payments & Licensing

Pro subscriptions are sold and billed entirely through Gumroad. We never see, collect, or store your card number, billing address, or other payment details — Gumroad handles all of that under its own privacy policy and terms.

When you activate a license key, the extension sends the key to Gumroad's licensing API to verify it and stores the verification result locally. Re-verification happens automatically in the background so your Pro status stays accurate without requiring you to do anything.

Third Parties

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services of any kind. The only outside services the extension communicates with are:

• TikTok — to read and remove your favorites, using your own already-authenticated session.
• Gumroad — to verify and manage Pro license keys and handle payments.

Data Retention

Since nothing is collected on our end, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Data stored locally by the extension (your settings and license status) stays on your device until you clear it yourself — either through the extension's own settings or by uninstalling the extension, which removes all of its local storage automatically.

Your Rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or erase on request — your data never left your device in the first place.
